Neil Azous

Neil Azous is the Co-Founder of Rareview Macro, an advisory firm to some of the world’s most influential investors and the publisher of the daily newsletter Sight Beyond Sight™. Neil has over 18 years of financial services experience across asset classes and the capital structure. He is recognized within the financial services industry for his expertise in portfolio construction, risk mitigation, and alpha enhancement strategies. Prior to founding Rareview Macro, Neil was a Managing Director at Navigate Advisors where he was the primary contributor of daily market commentary, idea generation and bespoke research. Before joining Navigate Advisors, Neil was a senior member of the Equity Derivatives group at UBS Investment Bank providing his clients with a single point of contact across asset classes and products. Prior to UBS, Neil worked in a buy side role within an internal investment partnership at Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette (CSFB) where his responsibilities included trading, risk management and fundamental analysis. He began his career as a Trader in Fixed Income at Goldman Sachs where he was one of the original members of the Credit Derivatives group focusing on balance sheet transactions and structured credit solutions. Neil is a candidate for a MS in Real Estate at New York University and received his BA in Business Administration from the University of Washington where he was recently named the recipient of the University of Washington Bothell Business School’s 2013 Distinguished Undergraduate Alumnus Award.

Greg Ehlers

Greg Ehlers is the Co-Founder of Rareview Macro, an advisory firm to some of the world’s most influential investors and the publisher of the daily newsletter Sight Beyond Sight™. With over 25 years in both trading and advisory capacities, Greg has experienced firsthand the majority of economic and business cycles in the modern investing era. He began his career in the Futures markets on the Chicago Board of Trade transacting on behalf of Bankers Trust, a firm in the 1980-90’s known for breeding many of the top proprietary traders or investors in the industry. He continued trading institutional proprietary capital at Merrill Lynch through the various crisis in 1998 and into the 2000 Technology bubble. In 2001, Greg transitioned to an advisory role with UBS Investment Bank. As head of the Equity Derivative sales department, he is recognized as the pioneer of integrating macro strategies into the Equity derivative investment sales process. In 2007, just prior to the global financial crisis and with the endorsement of many of the world’s leading Chief Investment Officers, Greg co-founded Navigate Advisors. As the Managing Partner, he is recognized for creating the only true boutique macro broker-dealer on Wall Street that not only provided advisory and cross-asset trading capabilities but regularly transacted billions of securities. Greg received his BS in Finance and Economics from the University of Montana and is active in various charity and community organizations.
